School renovations have begun in earnest as a result of the
passage of the November 2006 bond issue
Bond
construction is scheduled for completion in August—ahead of schedule
and on budget! It will be a busy summer at all sites. The District
Office will relocate to Solano while we get a much needed face lift.
When complete, every classroom will have new carpeting and low
energy use lighting; heating and air conditioning systems will be
upgraded to use less energy and provide cleaner air and better
circulation; water fixtures will be new low-water use fixtures.
Additionally, we will have new roofs, playgrounds and renovated
fields and parking lots on all sites. Come see the results of your
bond dollars when school starts in August!
