From the Superintendent,

Osborn School District No. 8 has a proud history of excellence since 1879, starting as a one-room school at the corner of Central Avenue and Osborn Road.  I have been privileged to serve as Superintendent since 1986, helping to provide continuity and leadership during the changing times.  We now boast six outstanding facilities serving approximately 4,000 students.  We are proud of our supportive community who recently approved a $37 million dollar bond issue to further improve our facilities.

In addition to our long history, below are just a few of the important reasons parents choose to send their children to the Osborn School District.

  • Safe, Secure and Inviting Campuses
  • Focus on Achievement
  • Five Performing-Plus and One Performing School
  • Highly Qualified and Caring Staff
  • Standards Based Curriculum
  • State of the Art Technology for Both Students and Staff
  • Programs that Address Special Needs Students

We invite you to visit our schools and see first hand the exciting teaching and learning taking place on a daily basis in classrooms throughout the district.   Thank you for your ongoing support of our schools.
